Well Duh!

Eight BallIf  you are reading this Blog, there is a good chance you were brought here by one or more aspects of the Social Media Funnel. I am connected to hundreds and maybe possibly a thousand or so people by using Social Media Marketing. In my industry I find it essential to promote what I do through Social Media. If you don’t have a corporate body that is pushing a Social Media campaign to bring people to your product or business then you are already behind the “Eight Ball” in advertising.

If you don’t have some knowledge in this may I suggest looking to one of your staff members to help you out. I am certain you have looked deeply into the combined hidden intangibles of your staff to locate those people that could assist you here. If those people are not available that is part of my portfolio as a Consultant and I would be happy to speak with you.

You should be utilizing Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Pinterest to push your location and products at the very minimum. There are so many other places out there, and there are always ways you can bring people to your company creatively using these vehicles.

In addition to these important areas it is also important to mine as much data from these folks as possible. This will allow you to better target your audience. There are companies like Constant Contact that can assist you in making great Email campaigns to help you reach more people and turn them into more regular users of your company or products.

The other great tool in Social Media is the Blog. Obviously, I am drinking my own Kool-Aid in this process and I assure you it can be a huge help to your company. Providing content that draws people to you is critical to your business performance and it’s online presence. Providing Recipes, Reviews, or other nuances will get the attention of people, and have them thinking about you when they aren’t even there. That is the key to getting their business over and over again.
